Established in 2024, Urban Ember is an Australian Family Owned Business in Sydney.
Urban Ember (originally Kirei Taki Candles) launches into the artistry of candles, with class and simplicity, creating handmade fragranced soy candles with an urban and sophisticated element.
Our candles are hand-made, using 100% Soy Wax, Cotton Wicks and aromatic sourced fragrances, to create an organic and eco-friendly product for all to enjoy.
Soy Wax is used for the enjoyment by family, friends and extended fur family.
The bonus of using Soy Wax in our products, provides a “keep sake” jar for continual use when the candle is finished.
TIP: Use hot soapy water to remove excess wax, wick and labels.
Urban Ember offers a range of fragranced candles across the Woody, Sweet, Floral and Citrus Range, with our other collections created to entice your fragrance desires.

Where do we start ....
Urban Ember is a small family business with a “big heart”.Our business concept evolved over a number of long road trips to Melbourne. Discussions over e- commerce, hampers, products and the list goes on.
Here we are fast-tracking a very long but fun 12 months, and “wow” would be the word to describe this journey.
Through creating a range of ever evolving beautifully soy wax “eco-friendly” fragranced candles, there were many trials and tribulations.
We have researched, tested, failed and succeeded and repeat. We spent 7 months at the markets over a very wet winter, added to the energy behind Urban Ember.
From our journey so far, we can honestly say:

- We love what we do;
- We are loving our journey and we welcome you to join us as our “Urban Ember” Journey evolves. -
